GET/v1/models

Models

Returns a list of all available models. Use the model IDs in requests to the Messages endpoint.

Model Categories

Model IDs use a provider:model format. A model name sent without a prefix is treated as Anthropic's, so claude-opus-4-8 and anthropic:claude-opus-4-8 are the same model.

Every non-Anthropic model must carry its prefix— write openai:gpt-6 and zhipu:glm-5-3, never the model name on its own. Dropping the prefix makes the name read as a request for an Anthropic model that does not exist. A model is only valid under the provider that serves it.

Use an ID exactly as listed below. Names that look plausible but are not listed — for example claude-opus-4-5 (the real ID is claude-opus-4-5-20250801) — are rejected with 400 Unknown model. Call GET /v1/models to read the live list rather than hard-coding one.
